Funding Opportunity Update

Improving Appropriate Access to Specialty Care in Rural California

The California HealthCare Foundation has recently released a Request for Proposals entitled “Improving Appropriate Access to Specialty Care in Rural California.”  Grants under this RFP are intended to improve access to appropriate specialty care in rural regions of California. 

Both planning and implementation grants are available. Planning grants are for up to one year and not to exceed $50K.  Longer term implementation grants will also be available in amounts of up to $250K.

To be eligible, the lead agency must be a 501(c) (3) or a government entity.  Coalition participants must be from one or more of a specified list of 27 counties as described in the RFP.

Please note that proposals are due November 16, 2007.
