The California Telemedicine & eHealth Center (CTEC) is interested in funding the development of a Telemedicine Learning Center (TLC) in Southern California. This grant award will support the planning, development, and implementation of a Southern California Telemedicine Learning Center program to provide Telemedicine and eHealth education to health care professionals. A major objective of this grant will be to provide a TLC located closer to health care providers who serve the rural and underserved regions of Southern California. The learning center will be designed for educational sessions, logistical/equipment demonstrations, and joint video-conferences.
For the purpose of this grant, the applicant may apply for up to $1,000,000 for a period of two years. Applicants must be located and provide services in Southern California. Eligible applicants include public and private nonprofit organizations and academic institutions.
